By Car
To get to Elba Island, you need to reach the port of Piombino Marittima, which is easily accessible via the Italian motorway and road network. From here, numerous ferries depart for the ports of Portoferraio, Rio Marina, and Cavo, with crossings taking about an hour. During the summer season, departures are very frequent, and it is advisable to book your ferry in advance. Once you disembark at Portoferraio or Rio Marina (the closest ones), Nisporto is about a 20-minute drive (15 km) from both. Simply follow the signs for Nisporto, along a scenic road immersed in the Mediterranean scrub.
By Train
You can reach the Piombino Marittima railway station, which is directly connected to the boarding port. From here, you can easily access the ferries to Elba Island.
By Plane
Elba Island has the Marina di Campo airport, with seasonal connections to several Italian and European cities. From the airport, you can reach Nisporto in about 40 minutes by car, using a taxi or a rental car.
